For Operation under Harsh Solar-Cell Production Conditions
Double Diaphragm Pumps for Harsh Demands
Highly resistant materials of construction and a solid-block design promising reliability and operational efficiency ensure that E-Series air-operated double diaphragm pumps withstand the harsh demands encountered in solar-cell manufacturing.

All E-Series housing and pump components are made of polyethylene (PE) or PTFE, which set the standard in solar-cell applications.
PE has a high abrasion resistance, as much as seven times higher than that of polypropylene (PP) and 1.6 times higher than that of steel. This type of durability is important for handling the abrasive silicon carbide slurry using in solar cell manufacturing. In addition, the excellent chemical resistance of E-Series pumps made of PTFE makes for compatibility with the acidic and caustic chemicals used in solar-cell production, thus precluding corrosion of the pump’s internal parts. E-Series pumps also feature the Perswing P maintenance-free air-control system. The pumps are self-priming and provide gentle displacement of fluids. They are easy to start up and also include an integrated muffler. Options such as a screw-on pulsation damper, draining systems, barrier chamber system, diaphragm monitor, stroke counting, and flange connection are also available.
